The CICM works of evangelization have also challenged and inspired many Filipinos to give themselves to serve the missions worldwide.
The CICM Philippine Province considers the educational apostolate as one of the most effective means of evangelization. As such, it maintains the school apostolate among its priorities as a missionary institution.


Saint Louis College in San Fernando, La Union is one of the schools that CICM established during their stay here in the Philippines. “The Beacon of Wisdom in the North” is a name given to SLC.
The historical background of Saint Louis College dates back with the establishment of Fr. Burgos College in 1948. Later on was renamed as Saint Louis College - San Fernando, La Union.

Vision: Saint Louis College envisions an integral human formation of the youth to prepare them to become mature Christian leaders in the Church and Society.
Mission: To provide programs that builds a dynamic Christian missionary community and enhances human dignity for the development of the person and the improvement of the quality of life.

The Saint Louis College Elementary School offers to its pupils a three-storey building which houses the following: Administrative Offices strategically located to ensure accessibility; Spacious, well-lighted, ventilated and sufficiently furnished classrooms; Computer Laboratory Room; Dance Room; PE Room; Industrial Arts Room; Science Laboratory; Guidance Office and Testing Room; EPP Laboratory Room; Arts Activity Room; Library with Adequate volumes of books; Saringit Publication Room; ES Stage and Quadrangle for Pupil activities; Clinic (Medical - Dental); Audio Visual Room (AVR)


The Saint Louis College - High School offers to its students a three storey "J" shaped building which houses the following:Administrative Offices strategically located to insure accessibility; Spacious well-lighted, well-ventilated and sufficiently furnished classrooms; An air-conditioned Audio-Visual Room with state-of-the-art audio and video facilities; An air-conditioned Internet Center that revolutionizes the classroom by connecting students to the world and brings new ideas to life; High School Library building with adequate volumes of books as well as up-to-date magazines and periodicals; Separate Physics, Chemistry and Biology rooms with updated equipment, apparatus and supplies; Guidance Office and Psychological Testing Room with full-time and qualified Guidance Counselors; A separate Sports Complex for physical educational activities; A Home Economics Practice and Lecture Rooms; Two full air-conditioned Computer Rooms.
The Following Facilities and Services are also available: A gymnasium for educational, social, cultural, physical and spiritual activities; an air-conditioned Social Center for social gatherings of students, faculty and parents; A bookstore where school supplies are sold; A post office for mail services; A Disaster Equipment Center to facilitate quick response to fire and other related emergencies; A separate clinic (medical-dental) with full-time school nurse for health services; A two-storey canteen with 2 concessionaires.
